THE RIGHTEOUS SING AND REJOICE WHILE THE FOOL MOCKS AND RAGES.

Proverbs 29:1-9

Q.1. Why is it dangerous to ignore reproof? What kind of leadership blesses a nation? What brings shame on a family? – (Prov.29:1-4)

God acts with grace toward all His children. His discipline is an evidence of His love – 11 My son, do not reject the discipline of the Lord or loathe His reproof, 12 For whom the Lord loves He reproves, even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights (Prov.3:11-12). We are wise to heed the warning that – A man who hardens his neck after much reproof will suddenly be broken beyond remedy (Prov.29:1). Blessing and stability come from a just ruler. Whenever the righteous gain the upper hand, the people rejoice (Prov.29:2 &4). A son who grows to see the hand of God in his life brings gladness to his family. However, to waste his wealth on harlots, would bring the family shame.

Q.2. How are people trapped? What benefits do the righteous bring to others? What kind of people do not benefit from correction? – (Prov.29:5-9)

Flattery is frequently accompanied by deception. Invariably, evil activities and pursuits trap people. Wise people defuse anger and strife, and – the righteous is concerned for the rights of the poor … (Prov.29:7). What a blessing. We all have much to learn, and every conflict can give us opportunity to use God’s wisdom in avoiding disagreement. However – … the foolish man either rages or laughs, and there is no rest (Prov.29:9).
