About Lesson

STUDY 2: GROWING AS A NEW BELIEVER (Part A)

AIM: To introduce the unique nature of God’s love, the importance of the Word of God, and the blessings of the indwelling Holy Spirit.

Focus on the need to be regularly in the Word as our source of:

    • our confidence in God’s love
    • our food for growth
    • our source of power against the attacks of the devil.
  • Help the new convert develop a hunger for God’s Word, build a quiet time habit and start to memorise scripture. Sharing the Word Hand Illustration is useful.
  • Work through any doubts and issues they might have. What is their greatest area of temptation? What scripture can help them in that area? Help the new convert build their desire for fellowship and accountability.
