STUDY 3: YOUR NEW IDENTITY IN CHRIST (Part A)

AIM: To highlight the blessings and benefits that accompany our new life in Christ.

This study is an opportunity to discuss the issue of identity. In today’s society people are craving to belong. To belong they are identifying themselves by what is important to them or what they aspire to or who accepts them. All these things are transient. As a Christian, our identity is in Christ, no matter what life’s circumstances dish up.

  • Ask questions to tease out where the new convert sees their identity.
  • Ask questions to ensure they understand they belong to God because Jesus paid for their adoption.
