About Lesson

STUDY #5: YOUR VICTORY OVER SIN

AIM: To share insights from the Bible’s on how to face and gain victory over our battle with sin.

This subject will allow you to share honestly about the ongoing struggle all believers have with their sin nature. The convert needs to be able to discern the attacks of Satan in maligning the truth of the gospel.

Salvation is at least threefold:

  1. Our SALVATION means that we are declared righteous before God when we place our faith in the finished work of Jesus.
  2. God then proceeds to make us what He has declared us to be through a life-long process that is called SANCTIFICATION.
  3. When we die (or at the Rapture), God will REDEEM us and transform us to the perfection of Christ which qualifies us for eternal life and heaven.

This lesson enables you to describe biblically how the gospel of Jesus Christ provides for all our sins – PAST – PRESENT – and FUTURE.
