Proverbs 8:32-36
Q.1. On what basis will God bless people? What attitude should we cultivate to God’s Word? How great are the benefits of heeding God’s principles? What is the end of those who reject His ways? – (Prov.8:32-36)
Our nation is overcome by vice, gambling, drugs, and alcohol abuse. The cry of our leaders is that we need more education. They fail to acknowledge that these problems occur when we remove God from life’s equation. Our problems are sin related and require a heart change. It is all about how we respond to God’s truth. The blessing comes from heeding it and living it out. God pleads – 32 Now therefore, O sons, LISTEN to me, for blessed are they who KEEP my ways. 33 “HEED instruction and be wise, and do not neglect it (Prov.8:32-33). Solomon wanted his sons to passionately seek God daily (Prov.8:34). He promised that God would reward them with His favour – For he who finds me finds life and obtains favour from the Lord (Prov.8:35). He also made it clear that to disregard God’s way would lead to ruin and death for – he who sins against me injures himself; All those who hate me love death (Prov.8:36). Our society pays a high price for rejecting the living God.
