About Lesson

Study 1: EXPLAINING YOUR NEW RELATIONSHIP (Part A)

AIM: To teach disciples how to ground and do follow-up with new believers.

This first study is an opportunity to evaluate the conversion of the new Christian. Ask questions about their decision and understanding of the gospel.

  • What led them to their decision to follow Jesus?
  • Review the gospel together using the Bridge Illustration or something similar.
  • Is their understanding of sin biblical?
  • Is there evidence of genuine repentance?
