Discipleship Notes
About Lesson

Intro

AIM: To teach disciples how to ground and do follow-up with new believers.

You may have come to your decision to follow Jesus:

  • through a dynamic conversion from a life ignorant of Jesus’ sacrifice for you,
  • though a more gradual decision from a life under the wings of faithful Christian parents, or
  • through a re-dedication from a back-slidden life of running from His truth.

No matter how you have come to this point, Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross has paid for your sin. You are forgiven, washed clean, a child of God and empowered to grow to live a life that pleases Him.

“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the Dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
